WOODEN PAINTED CHATTER PEACOCK: The peacock
is a king among birds with it large feathers. Peacock is associated with
religion for long time. In Hinduism the Peacock is associated with
goddess Saraswathy, with goddess Hera (Juno) in Greco-Roman mythology,
and with Christianity it is a symbol of eternal life.
This hand painted Peacock with its wide open feathers posture is handmade
with Kadamba wood also known as white wood. This handmade Peacock with its elegant colors is quite artistic and aesthetic. This finely carved and painted peacock by highly skilled and experienced
artists in India.

Lacquer dyes. The art of making these crafts and toys is centuries old
