Jali cut fish is handmade
with Kadamba wood also known as white wood. The technique used to make this design is called Jali cutting, and the process is complex as this involves the removal of wood inside the figurine leaving behind the intricately interconnected design. The Jali cut fish is carved with a baby inside and it is quite artistic and aesthetic.The fish figurine is finely carved by
highly
skilled and experienced artists in India.
We offer a variety of arts, crafts and,
toys that are handmade using naturally available vegetable dyes called
Lacquer dyes. The art of making these crafts and toys is centuries old
and the tradition is passed on through generations within the families.
